    Recently I made the trek back east to the town of Burlington just 15 miles north of the city of Boston. While there I made a side trip up to New Hampshire to do some exploring with my father, Tony Rainha. One part of that day was a visit to a short walking trail scattered with ice and crusty snow which led us to Profile Falls. I have come across these falls before , but never during this time of the year. What we found was a large mass of water, that is usually rolling over the rocks and down stream, frozen in a state of suspended animation.
